ANZAC Day, held each year on 25 April, is a solemn day of remembrance, gratitude and national pride.
On 25 April 1915, during the First World War, the historic dawn landing of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers at Gallipoli occurred. To commemorate this significant event, the Returned & Services League of Australia, Western Australia Branch Incorporated (RSLWA) will be hosting the annual ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. A number of commemorative events also take place the region.
