Discover the magical underwater world of Ningaloo in the immersive 180-degree dome theatre. Jump aboard mini-submarine Odyssea as it explores one of the greatest mega reefs on the planet – Ningaloo Reef! Presented by Prospero Productions.

Under the Sea
Craft a turtle or manta ray kite to float gracefully through the sky. Make your own funky paper diving goggles to strike the perfect pose for photos on your undersea adventure, and explore the wonderful world of sea creatures on our digitally animated screen. Race to capture your nature photo opportunities in the Divers for Biodiversity game, explore the galleries in our Under the Sea 'spotto trail', and discover sea specimens in our Under the Sea touch table in the WA Down Under gallery. There will also be daily storytelling sessions which explore the wonders of our world under the sea.
Saturday 5 January - Sunday 20 January 2019. Under the Sea trail: 9:30am - 5pm. Under the Sea craft and game: 10am - 2pm. Storytelling: 10:30am. Activities are free, WA Maritime Museum adult entry fees apply. Suitable for ages 4+. Bookings required for groups 10+ by calling 1300 134 081.
Junior Fishing Clinic
Join one of Recfishwest's popular and free SunSmart fishing clinics at the WA Maritime Museum. Participants will learn how to be SunSmart, how to fish sustainably and look after the environment while developing their casting and fish handling skills. Fishing rods and equipment will be supplied.
