Artist Activation | Sharyn Egan Balga Waangkiny (Balga Talking) Yarning Together

Join us during the July school holidays for Balga Waangkiny (Balga Talking) Yarning Together, an Artist Activation inspiring connection and mindfulness where you can sit quietly, untangle your thoughts, share stories, and weave feeling into an accumulating installation inspired by grass trees. Artist Sharyn Egan will be in the activation space from 10am-2pm on Sat 4, Thu 9 and Sat 18 July. Learn more about the artist activation.
Kindling Creative Screen Printing Pop-up

Make your mark. Reveal yourself. Join Kindling Creative for screen printing fun at the Art Gallery main entrance. Screen printing using hand cut stencils is a traditional process that masks and reveals. It brings the positive and negative into focus together. Learn more about the pop-up.
The Bird Makers Project with Co:3

Calling all makers to join the birdsong! School Holiday Bird-Making Workshops with Co:3 at AGWA. Join Co:3 these school holidays for a FREE, 2.5 hour family-friendly textiles workshop, where you will be guided by an expert bird maker to transform an item of black clothing into a black bird, destined for the stage in 2021!
