Come celebrate your local community at Gnalla Pop-up Plaza at Nollamara Shopping Centre running from 1 March to 30 June.
'Gnalla' is the Indigenous word for 'our', and is the name of the Pop-Up Plaza that has been created under the beautiful, shady Ficus trees at Nollamara Shopping Centre.
The City will be hosting six events throughout the month of April, which will include activities for families and young people including roving performers and workshops.
- Easter Egg Hunt and Bonnet Parade Gnalla Pop-up Plaza
- Youth Week
- Beat the Drum - Youth Week
- Earth Day
- ANZAC Day
City officers will be onsite on event days, working with the community to design a plaza at the Nollamara Shopping Centre, that reflects the community's needs and priorities.
To facilitate the Pop-Up Plaza, one of the entrances to the Nollamara Shopping Centre from Nollamara Avenue will be closed. The Shopping Centre can still be accessed from Nollamara Avenue near the Carcoola St roundabout and from Hillsborough Drive and Sylvia Street.
