CORE Cider House sits on 40 acres of stunning apple orchards in the Perth Hills, only 35 minutes from Perth. Reknowned for their estate craft ciders and wines, CORE offers a unique farm tourism experience.
Take an authentic tractor adventure tour through the 80 year old orchard on the Apple Express and learn everything about apples and the cider making process. The tour guide provides you with an insight into what they do; from cidermaking and apple growing to the history and personalities of CORE; there's lots to talk about!
On our tours, you will:
- Discover the orchards – the lifeblood of the property, and pick your own fruit during our guided tours during harvest! We have over 8 varieties of apples, 4 varieties of pears, persimmons, plums, quince and pomegranates.
- Discover the cidermaking process: Venture into the cidery to see the cidermaking process.
- Be treated to a guided tasting of their ciders at the cellar door.
Children are given a tasting of their fresh apple juice.
A journey through apples and cider! Ride the Apple Express - a fun and authentic tractor adventure tour through the orchard and learn about cidermaking, apple growing and the history and personalities of CORE. You can also Pick-Your-Own fruit during harvest! You'll take a peek into the cidery then be guided through tastings of a range of our craft ciders at the cellar door.
Cost: $35 adults/$23 children, includes a guided orchard tour on the Apple Express, a look into the apple pressing in the cidery (if available) and be guided through cider tastings at the cellar door.

Private Walking Tours operate from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00am to 11:30am by appointment only, with a minimum number of 10 people and maximum of 25 people.
If you cancel a tour 30 days prior to departure, we will refund you 95% of the deposit amount paid. We will retain 5% of the deposit paid as a non-refundable booking fee. If you cancel a tour one week prior to departure we will retain 100% of the deposit paid. If you leave a tour for any reason after it have commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for the unused part of the tour. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave prior to its completion, no refund will be paid. A private charters deposit will not be refunded for cancellations of private tours, however this credit can be used toward booking another tour if more than 36 hours’ notice is given. For private charters and corporate packages we have a 5 day cancellation policy and 50% refund. Cancellation within 36 hours of the tour results in no refund.
TOUR BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Our contract
All bookings are made with High Vale Orchard (T/A CORE Cider House ABN: 72008766783). By booking a tour with us you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation email.
- Validity
Dates, tours and itineraries are subject to change. Please check our website page to see the offers available.
- Deposit requirement
You are required to pay a deposit of the 10% of the amount due for the tour to confirm your bookings. This includes a 5% non-refundable booking fee Please see condition 6 for more details in regards to cancellation and refund policies.
- Acceptance of booking and final arrangements
If we accept your booking we will issue a confirmation email. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation email. Payment of the balance of the tour price is due on the day of the tour before departure.
- Flexibility & Authority on tour
You will appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of tour requires considerable flexibility. The itinerary provided for each tour is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events beyond our control.
Our tours are run by our Tour Guide. The decision of the Tour Guide is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any traveler or staff member participating in the tour. If you fail to comply with a decision made by our Tour Guide, or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the Tour Guide may direct you to leave the tour immediately with no right of refund. We may also elect not to carry you on any future tours booked. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug and alcohol regulations of Australia.
- Prices
Our tour prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, both of which are standard practice within the tourism industry. This means our tour prices may vary at any time in accordance with demand market conditions and availability.
- Weather Conditions
We cannot guarantee weather conditions. We do not refund tours for inclement weather. We may make alternative arrangements, such as a tour of the Apple Shed until the weather clears but we run the tour even in the case of rain. If the customer doesn’t want to join the tour because of the rain or weather, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
- Cancellation by us
We may cancel a tour at any time prior to departure if due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events make it not viable for us to operate the planned tour. If we cancel your tour, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternative departure date or receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or nonrefundable Flights.
CORE Cider House has the right to refuse entry to the tour for patrons who are either
intoxicated, dressed inappropriately or guests who are behaving in an ill manner that affects other guests or our staff Under the Liquor Licensing Act 119()(a), no alcohol is to be consumed on the tour vehicle. If you purchase alcohol whilst on the tour we will happily store it for you in a safe place and provide it you at the end of the tour.
For our tours, if you are more than 10 minutes late for departure then the tour will potentially leave without you out of respect for other guests on the tour – sorry! No refund is applicable for late arrivals.
- Photos and marketing
Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of Tour or to send you marketing material in relation to our events ad special offers The information may be disclosed to our agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to operate the tour. We will otherwise treat your details in accordance with our privacy policy (available for viewing on our website).
- Severability
In the event that any term or condition contained in these Booking Conditions in unenforceable or void by operations of law or as being against public policy or for any other reason, then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed form this contract or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding.
- Applicable Law
The laws of Western Australia govern these Booking Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connections with a tour or these booking Conditions must be initiated in the courts of Western Australia, Australia.
