Welcome to the Chittering Visitor Centre. Our friendly volunteers are more than happy to help you with all the tourist information you will need to make the most out of your trip in Chittering.
We are located in the township of Bindoon, in the heart of the Shire of Chittering, less than an hour’s drive from Perth.
This emerging region, with its temperate Mediterranean climate and rich soils produce citrus fruits, olives, amongst other produce from smaller scale farms. With small family owned vineyards, including the varieties of Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, all being produced throughout the district.
For several months of the year the aroma of orange blossom is the backdrop of the town of Bindoon, with mandarins, oranges and lemons being sold from roadside stalls. At other times of the year avocados, mangoes and pumpkins are available, freshly picked by the farmer.
Take beautiful drive around the district from Bullsbrook into the Chittering Valley Tourist Drive and immerse yourself in the rolling green hills of Perth’s countryside.
With a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs, ranging from Farm stays, self contained, bed and breakfasts and caravan and camping areas.
