Unique to Perth, Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery is an Aboriginal owned and operated enterprise offering cultural activities, talks, performances and bush tucker as well as beautiful artwork and hand painted objects by local Aboriginal artists.
Exquisitely hand painted glassware, woodware and ceramics are among our unique gifts and souvenirs. Bushtucker is a specialty and they carry a comprehensive range of Australian native herbs, spices, peppers, nuts and dried fruits as well as packaged product such as sauces, relishes, chutneys, jams, dukkahs and olive oils. These can all be tasted daily on the free tasting table.
Guests can wander the bushfood garden, commune with the emus and even purchase a plant for their own garden. For those wanting to learn more, book a Bush Tucker Talk and Tasting Tour. Check out the details on the website.
You can also book a Local History and Culture Talk, or Ochre, Art and Handprints Activity. Books, cards, napery, T shirts, jewellery and skincare are part of the range as well as handcrafted local returning boomerangs and artifacts.
Check out the virtual tour of the gallery on the website.
The Maalinup Team look forward to welcoming you.
