DUYFKEN... THE SHIP THAT PUT AUSTRALIA ON THE MAP!
Duyfken is a little ship that had such a big impact on the history of Australia, being recognised as the first European ship to make contact with the shores of Australia in 1606 - some 164 years before Captain James Cook and the British claim to Australia's history.
Once you step aboard, you will feel the way the ship connects the past with the present and the future.
Duyfken delivers its Education Program in Fremantle from May to August in Terms 2 and 3. From September to April, Duyfken relocates to her Summer berth at South of Perth Yacht Club in Applecross for the Twilight Sail Program on the Swan River. For sailing dates on the Swan River and to book, please visit www.duyfken.com for further information.
Duyfken is closed for exhibition to the general public. However, private tours by appointment up to a maximum of 10 people can be arranged. Please ring 0427 160 606 for more details.
