The next time you are wanting a Nyoongar cultural experience, come out to the picturesque Avon Valley, to the Bilya Koort Boodja – Centre for Nyoongar Culture & Environmental Knowledge.
Situated on the beautiful Avon River Northam, the a state of the art Nyoongar Cultural Interpretive Centre is a must see. Opening in August 2018, the centre has an interpretive space, a retail outlet & venue hire (workshop rooms).
Cultural awareness training is also offered at BKB and a program can be tailored to your needs. To compliment your experience at BKB, we can also coordinate a range of cultural activities such as storytelling, artefact making, didgeridoo, art etc.
