Millbrook Restaurant has been awarded Two Chef Hats at the Good Food Guide 2020 Awards held in Brisbane. Millbrook was the only Perth restaurant and one of only three WA restaurants to be awarded the prestigious Two Chef Hats.
Executive Chef Guy Jeffreys was thrilled with the award and for Millbrook to be recognised among Australia's top restaurants. "We are passionate about offering 'paddock to plate' food utilising fruit and vegetables grown and handpicked on the estate. I congratulate the entire Millbrook team on this excellent achievement of two hats, as well as all the WA restaurants that were recognised at the awards."
Millbrook Winery has also continued its outstanding wine show performance winning three trophies at the 2019 Geographe Wine Show, including the Trophy for Excellence in Winemaking awarded to Millbrook Senior Winemaker Damian Hutton. This award is based on the highest number of points earned at the wine show by a winemaker.
Millbrook received the following awards at the wine show:
- Damian Hutton – Trophy Excellence in Winemaking
- 2019 Regional Rosé – Trophy Best Rosé of Show and Gold Medal
- 2019 Regional Rosé – Trophy Best Geographe Rosé
- 2019 Regional Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre – Gold Medal
- 2018 Limited Release Chardonnay – Gold Medal
Senior Winemaker Damian Hutton said: "It is fantastic to be awarded these trophies, and gold medals for our newly released Regional and Limited Release wines.
