5 - 22 March 2021, Cottesloe Beach
Celebrating 17 years, Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe is one of Perth's largest free public events - attracting an estimated 220,000 visitors to explore the art and create Perth's own version of the Italian passeggiata. Seventy artists from 13 countries are set to showcase their work across the 18-day exhibition, with a COVID Event Plan in place, including sculptors from Japan, the USA, New Zealand, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Malaysia and France. Thirty-five sculptors from Western Australia will showcase the State's wealth of artistic talent, accompanied by interstate artists from New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the ACT.

Returning to Palace Cinemas and Luna Palace Cinemas for its fabulous 32nd incarnation, the Alliance Française French Film Festival, will beguile and engage audiences with over 35 films will be screened at Palace Raine Square, Luna Leederville, Windsor Cinema, Luna on SX and Camelot Outdoor Cinema. Awash with high-octane drama, seductive romance, nail-biting suspense, historical tales that will enthral and comedies guaranteed to elevate your recently locked-down spirits, the 2021 Alliance Française French Film Festival will showcase multiple premiere screenings and special events in a COVID safe cinema experience.

The Revealed WA Aboriginal Art Market is back and this year it is GOING ONLINE for four days. Revealed is the only event where you can buy artworks from across Western Australia’s remote and regional Aboriginal Art Centres as well as by independent Aboriginal artists, all via one website. View and purchase artworks across a huge range of mediums, with items for sale including paintings, textiles, carved artefacts, homewares, prints, clothing, ceramics, jewellery and more.

The annual Perth Comedy Festival brings a line-up of the world’s biggest comedy stars and next-big-things to WA stages every April and May. The Festival program includes a series of special events and showcases, including the spectacular Galas at Subiaco’s Regal Theatre. From stand-up to sketch, satire, improv, musical, absurdist, theatre, magic and kids comedy, there’s something in the program to satisfy all tastes.
2 May 2021, Toodyay
The legend of Moondyne Joe, the Avon Valley’s legendary bushranger transforms the picturesque historical town of Toodyay, Western Australia into a lively all day festival, the highlight of the day being the re-enactment of Moondyne Joe’s various escapades throughout the town, his arrests and mock trials.
