BEST OF PERTH IN SPRING

Whale watching season

Unforgettable whale watching experiences

Did you know that WA's Humpback Highway experiences the largest whale migration in the Southern Hemisphere? In April, the whales leave the rich feeding grounds of Antartica to raise their young in the warm in WA's north west. Their return journey brings them close to Perth's coast from September - December.

Anne Frank Travelling Exhibition

The travelling exhibition - 'Let Me Be Myself, the Life Story of Anne Frank' was compiled in Amsterdam, and tells the personal story of Anne Frank in the historical context of her time.

The exhibition also specifically highlights the relevance of her story in contemporary society, particularly in relation to prejudice, discrimination, and exclusion.

The exhibition is supported by a 25 minute video, displays including a booklet about the rise of the Nazism, a yellow six-pointed star which Jewish people were forced to wear, model of the Frank family’s hiding place and a replica of the original hand-written diary Anne received on her 13th birthday.
