  • Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum Kabul

    Perth | Dates: 26 Jul – 16 Nov, 2014
    The Western Australian Museum proudly presents Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum Kabul from July 26 - November 16. Touring Australia for the first time, Hidden Treasures features more than 230 priceless artefacts of gold, bronze and stone sculptures, ivories, painted glassware and other ancient works of art.
  • Richard Avedon People

    Perth | Dates: 02 Aug – 17 Nov, 2014
    Richard Avedon People celebrates the work of American photographer Richard Avedon (1923 to 2004) at the Art Gallery of WA from 2 August - 17 November. The exhibition offers an in-depth overview of Avedon's achievements in the art of black and white portraiture photography and includes influential artists, celebrities and political activists.
  • Perth Home Grown

    Perth | Dates: 24 Aug – 28 Dec, 2014
    This December, spend a relaxing Sunday shopping for fresh organic produce, delicious preserves and homemade wares in the heart of Perth. The many market stalls will offer the best local products and ingredients that will inspire you to get creative in the kitchen. Perth Home Grown is on from 10am to 3pm on every Sunday until the end of December 2014.
  • Spring has Sprung – Wildflower Display

    Fremantle | Dates: 05 Sep – 30 Nov, 2014
    From early September until late November, Fremantle Markets will be blossoming with wildflowers! WA is home to some of the most spectacular wildflowers in the world, and in collaboration with Botanica Naturalis, Fremantle Markets will bring a piece of this beauty within the market for all to enjoy with a spectacular falling garden display.
  • Piazzarama Northbridge

    Northbridge | Dates: 07 Sep, 2014 – 03 May, 2015
    The City of Perth's FREE themed family activity day, Piazzarama returns to Northbridge Piazza on the first Sunday of the month from September 2014 to May 2015. Each month sees a new theme, creating a diverse range of entertainment and films. Families are encouraged to head down for a day that will keep both mum and dad and the kids entertained.
  • Sunday Sounds

    Northbridge | Dates: 14 Sep – 30 Nov, 2014
    Enjoy FREE live music at Northbridge Piazza Sundays from 1 - 3pm from September - November. Enjoy the vibe with family and friends - make a day of it by taking advantage of nearby shops, cafes and bars in the chilled out ambience of the Northbridge precinct. Upcoming acts include William Groucutt & Stoney Joe and Jen De Ness & Mutima.
  • Trace: Architectural musings

    Mundaring | Dates: 03 Oct – 11 Nov, 2014
    An exhibition by artists and architects that explores the 'nature of the act of drawing' and architecture at Mundaring Arts Centre from 3 October - 11 November, 2014. Timed to coincide with Architecture Week and Open House Perth, local and national artists and architects are invited to create and present original works that explore the 'nature of the act of drawing' and architecture.
  • Millbrook Winery presents Christopher Lees Exhibition

    Jarrahdale | Dates: 08 Oct – 15 Nov, 2014
    Millbrook Winery is excited to host an exhibition of majestic works by Christopher Lees, one of this country's most successful landscape artists. Lees' distinctive style combines technical mastery with a poetic vision to recreate the special stillness which he loves about the Australian bush.

  • Sunday Music at Fremantle Arts Centre

    Fremantle | Dates: 19 Oct, 2014 – 29 Mar, 2015
    Sunday Music returns to Fremantle Arts Centre in the Front Garden Courtyard every Sunday from October 2014 - March 2015. Enjoy free performances by leading local and touring acts every Sunday throughout summer in our idyllic Front Garden. The concert series has been going strong for nearly 30 years and now attracts some 800 music lovers every weekend.
  • Carnival Macabre

    Northbridge | Dates: 24 Oct – 02 Nov, 2014
    At Northbridge Piazzarama, family-friendly festival activities will also include face painting, story-telling, an animal ark, inflatable Harry & Hogwarts castle and the Scitech monstrous science workshop.
  • Fremantle Festival

    Fremantle | Dates: 26 Oct – 09 Nov, 2014
    Fremantle is a unique place in the world; it is also home to Australia's longest running festival. Now in its 109th year, the Fremantle Festival is packed with special events and happenings bursting with verve, colour and Freo-style.
  • Verdi's Il Trovatore

    Perth | Dates: 30 Oct – 08 Nov, 2014
    West Australian Opera presents Verdi's Trovatore at His Majesty's Theatre on October 30, November 1, 4, 6 & 8. Featuring a stellar international cast with West Australian Opera Chorus & West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
  • Rooftop Movies

    Perth | Dates: 30 Oct, 2014 – 11 Apr, 2015
    The producers of FRINGE WORLD Festival in conjunction with City of Perth Parking, present Perth's first Rooftop Cinema. Ride the elevator and kick back and relax in our open air cinema, six levels above the ground. Expect to see more old-school gems, cinephile classics and cult and art house movies thrown in alongside blockbuster new releases.
  • Rottnest Closing Cup

    Rottnest Island | Dates: 31 Oct – 02 Nov, 2014
    The Rottnest Island Country Club presents its Season Closing and President’s Cup weekend. Saturday will host the 'Presidents Cup' played as an 18 hole Stableford event followed by presentations. Sunday morning will host a 9 hole event of four ball Ambrose to be followed by presentations and the social camaraderie synonymous with the club's events.
  • Newmont Boddington Rodeo Weekend

    Boddington | Dates: 31 Oct – 03 Nov, 2014
    The Boddington Lion's Club has successfully run the Lions Rodeo annually on the first Saturday in November each year, and is celebrated with a full weekend of rodeo activities, family-friendly entertainment and markets. The Rodeo in Western Australia has something in store for everyone!
  • Camp and sCare with BIG4 Woodman Point Holiday Park

    Munster | Dates: 31 Oct – 01 Nov, 2014
    Join BIG4 for Camp and sCare, a great night of camping under the stars that supports a fantastic cause. Scaring the kids has never been so right. Woodman Point Holiday Park is pulling out the cobwebs and pumpkins for its annual Halloween camp-out to raise money for children's cancer charity Camp Quality with decorations and a movie.
  • Camp and sCare with BIG4 Perth Vineyards Holiday Park

    Caversham | Dates: 31 Oct – 01 Nov, 2014
    Then join BIG4 for Camp and sCare, a great night of camping under the stars that supports a fantastic cause. Scaring the kids has never been so right.   • Darlington Arts Festival

    Darlington | Dates: 01 – 02 Nov, 2014
    Celebrate the Darlington Arts Festival on Saturday 1 & 2 November. From art exhibitions, to art and craft workshops, free entertainment and market stalls galore, the first weekend in November is the perfect time to head for the hills. The Darlington Arts Festival is WA's longest running FREE community festival.
  • Open House Perth

    Perth | Dates: 01 – 02 Nov, 2014
    Celebrating great local architecture and design its your opportunity to get behind the scenes of some of Western Australia's most exciting design spaces. For one weekend over 1 & 2 November, 66 destinations throughout Perth will open their doors for the public to explore for free.
