  • Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum Kabul

    Perth | Dates: 26 Jul – 16 Nov, 2014
    The Western Australian Museum proudly presents Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum Kabul from July 26 - November 16. Touring Australia for the first time, Hidden Treasures features more than 230 priceless artefacts of gold, bronze and stone sculptures, ivories, painted glassware and other ancient works of art.
  • Richard Avedon People

    Perth | Dates: 02 Aug – 17 Nov, 2014
    Richard Avedon People celebrates the work of American photographer Richard Avedon (1923 to 2004) at the Art Gallery of WA from 2 August - 17 November. The exhibition offers an in-depth overview of Avedon's achievements in the art of black and white portraiture photography and includes influential artists, celebrities and political activists.
  • Perth Home Grown

    Perth | Dates: 24 Aug – 28 Dec, 2014
    This December, spend a relaxing Sunday shopping for fresh organic produce, delicious preserves and homemade wares in the heart of Perth. The many market stalls will offer the best local products and ingredients that will inspire you to get creative in the kitchen. Perth Home Grown is on from 10am to 3pm on every Sunday until the end of December 2014.
  • Spring has Sprung – Wildflower Display

    Fremantle | Dates: 05 Sep – 30 Nov, 2014
    From early September until late November, Fremantle Markets will be blossoming with wildflowers! WA is home to some of the most spectacular wildflowers in the world, and in collaboration with Botanica Naturalis, Fremantle Markets will bring a piece of this beauty within the market for all to enjoy with a spectacular falling garden display.
  • Piazzarama Northbridge

    Northbridge | Dates: 07 Sep, 2014 – 03 May, 2015
    The City of Perth's FREE themed family activity day, Piazzarama returns to Northbridge Piazza on the first Sunday of the month from September 2014 to May 2015. Each month sees a new theme, creating a diverse range of entertainment and films. Families are encouraged to head down for a day that will keep both mum and dad and the kids entertained.
  • Sunday Sounds

    Northbridge | Dates: 14 Sep – 30 Nov, 2014
    Enjoy FREE live music at Northbridge Piazza Sundays from 1 - 3pm from September - November. Enjoy the vibe with family and friends - make a day of it by taking advantage of nearby shops, cafes and bars in the chilled out ambience of the Northbridge precinct. Upcoming acts include William Groucutt & Stoney Joe and Jen De Ness & Mutima.
  • Community Safety Month

    Perth and Northbridge | Dates: 01 – 31 Oct, 2014
    October is Community Safety Month in WA and to educate the community how to play safe and act smart during the school holidays, the City of Perth is presenting a number of safety themed events targeted at different age demographics including a series of safety short films at Northbridge Piazza, the Perth City Street-Ball Classic and Garage Sale Trail.
  • Trace: Architectural musings

    Mundaring | Dates: 03 Oct – 11 Nov, 2014
    An exhibition by artists and architects that explores the 'nature of the act of drawing' and architecture at Mundaring Arts Centre from 3 October - 11 November, 2014. Timed to coincide with Architecture Week and Open House Perth, local and national artists and architects are invited to create and present original works that explore the 'nature of the act of drawing' and architecture.
  • Millbrook Winery presents Christopher Lees Exhibition

    Jarrahdale | Dates: 08 Oct – 15 Nov, 2014
    Millbrook Winery is excited to host an exhibition of majestic works by Christopher Lees, one of this country's most successful landscape artists. Lees' distinctive style combines technical mastery with a poetic vision to recreate the special stillness which he loves about the Australian bush.
  • Oktoberfest at Seasons of Perth

  • Elmar's Oktoberfest

    Celebrate Okotberfest 2014 in the Swan Valley's largest Outdoor Beer Garden at Elmar's in the Valley. The event will be run over three dates; Saturday 11th Oct, Saturday 25th Oct & Sunday 26th Oct. All Ages Event. Tickets from $15.
  • City of Perth Twilight Hawkers Market

  • Perth City Streetball Classic

    Perth | Dates: 19 – 25 Oct, 2014
    To celebrate the return of basketball season and Community Safety Month, the City of Perth will be presenting the Perth City Streetball Classic on Sunday 19 October & Saturday 25 October. Making its debut last year, the Perth City Streetball Classic is an all-day event that focuses on basketball and inner city culture.
  • Sunday Music at Fremantle Arts Centre

    Fremantle | Dates: 19 Oct, 2014 – 29 Mar, 2015
    Sunday Music returns to Fremantle Arts Centre in the Front Garden Courtyard every Sunday from October 2014 - March 2015. Enjoy free performances by leading local and touring acts every Sunday throughout summer in our idyllic Front Garden. The concert series has been going strong for nearly 30 years and now attracts some 800 music lovers every weekend.
  • Swan Festival of Lights - Celebrating Deepavali Together

    Perth | Dates: 22 – 26 Oct, 2014
    The Swan Festival of Lights will set the Perth foreshore alight with a multitude of colours, rhythms and flavours. This year's celebration commences on the auspicious Indian festival, Deepavali (Diwali); a cultural festival of lights devoted to the universal theme of light triumphing darkness. 
  • Perth International

    Karrinyup | Dates: 23 – 26 Oct, 2014
    Australia's richest golf tour event, the Perth International will capture the attention of golf fans worldwide as it attracts some of the world's best players to Perth from 23 - 26 October, 2014. The 2014 event is likely to attract some of the world's big names in golf to compete at Lake Karrinyup Country Club.
  • Carnival Macabre

    Northbridge | Dates: 24 Oct – 02 Nov, 2014
    At Northbridge Piazzarama, family-friendly festival activities will also include face painting, story-telling, an animal ark, inflatable Harry & Hogwarts castle and the Scitech monstrous science workshop.
  • York Bzzaar

    York | Dates: 25 – 26 Oct, 2014
    The York Bzzaar is a new arts and crafts market that will operate over two days at the York Town Hall on October 25 & 26, 2014. The bazaar will offer a wide range of high quality handmade goods including jewellery, ceramics, homewares, textiles and more.
  • Welcome to the Valley 2014

    Swan Valley | Dates: 25 – 25 Oct, 2014
    Welcome to the Valley 2014 returns to take over one of Perth's most iconic hidden treasures - the picturesque Swan Valley. This Oktoberfest inspired festival brings together everything fantastic about spending a day in the Swan Valley and finished off with a huge party at Belvoir Amphithetre!
  • 2014 Angove Street Festival

    North Perth | Dates: 26 – 26 Oct, 2014
    Angove Street Festival celebrates all that is North Perth - the award-winning cafes, restaurants, retailers and cultural diversity that create the unique community surrounding Angove Street. Shops will be open for business, and there'll be approximately 100 market stalls to browse and buy from.
