The Leeuwin's Youth Explorer Voyage program, from September 2015 - June 2016, allows young people aged 14+ to experience a unique and challenging ocean adventure aboard a traditional tall ship. The program aims to inspire young people while developing skills in communication, leadership and teamwork, and creating a strong sense of community.

Astronomers today are exploring the universe on a grand scale. But knowing what’s out there, is just the first step. Putting the pieces together to unlock the mysteries of the universe is the ultimate goal.
Narrated by Academy Award winning actor Geoffrey Rush, discover the new astronomy being carried out under the breathtaking skies of the Australian outback. What will be learnt about our place amongst the stars?
This new Planetarium show highlights current research being carried out by astronomers within Australia. New and innovative telescopes, such as SkyMapper in NSW and the Murchison Widefield Array in WA, have been designed to survey large sections of the sky. They are finding things we've never seen before and will help us to better understand our Universe.
Capturing the Cosmos was produced by Melbourne Planetarium in partnership with the ARC Centre of Excellence for All-Sky Astrophysics (CAASTRO).

Acclaimed West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical CATS returns to Perth. Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with our favourite feline characters.

Local artist Antony Muia presents Stepping Stones, an exhibition that will stimulate all the senses at Mundaring Arts Centre from 22 April - 22 May. Established as an artist who explores the body and the human condition through expressive drawing, Antony expands this repertoire to include installation and audio work to engage the viewer in an interactive experience that offers "relief from the menial or mundane".
Following his celebrated shows in New York and London, 'Life on Mars’ showcases the work of visual artist Andy Faraday and his recent exploration of Western Australia’s wilderness, through a spectacle of light and colour. 22 - 29 April, Linton & Kay Galleries Perth.
