Kings Park and Botanic Gardens guided walks

Kings Park is only a short distance from the city centre and is a beautiful area of 400 hectares of natural vegetation, lakes and lookouts.

Botanic Garden Walks

While you stroll through the Botanic Gardens seeing native West Australian flora and perhaps hearing a bird sing, your guide will highlight the botanical features along the walk. The walk takes approximately one to one and a half hours and operates all year round.

Kings Park - Past and Present

Learn the historical aspects of Kings Park, memorials and trees while taking in the panoramic view of Perth City. The walk takes approximately one to one and a half hours and operates all year round. Suitable for wheelchairs.

Wilderness and Wildflowers

Enjoy 'the bush' as you walk along the nature trail and into the natural Kings Park bushland. See a variety of wildflowers with unusual names such as: milkmaids, postmen, pixies, fairies, donkeys and spiders. This walk takes approximately one to one and a half hours and operates from May through October. Suitable for wheelchairs.

Bush Walk

This walk takes the less familiar paths through the bushland and natural settings of the park along the escarpment and through the centre of Kings Park. This walk takes two to two and a half hours on Mondays and two and a half to three hours on Fridays and operates May through October.
