Meet one of New Norcia’s Benedictine Monks in the Monastery Parlour for a taste of monastic hospitality and the opportunity to ask questions. (10.30am Weekdays, 4.30pm Saturdays, 10am Sundays)
New Norcia Art Gallery
Lose yourself for an hour in the Art Gallery where European religious art in the grand style hangs alongside contemporary Australian religious art (9-4.30pm Daily).
Join the Monks in Prayer
Experience a 1500 year-old tradition and join the monks their private chapel to pray the Divine Office (6 times daily).
New Norcia Hotel
Stroll up the hill to the grand New Norcia Hotel and linger over a glass of Australia’s premier Abbey Ale, a limited edition handcrafted brew made exclusively for the monks of New Norcia. Treat yourself to a six pack – as Abbey Ale is taken home and enjoyed, fond recollections of your visit to New Norcia are assured!
