Getting to and Around

Getting to and around Mandurah is so easy!  Trains leave regularly from Perth city to Mandurah and take just under 50 minutes. You can also self drive or join a coach tour.

Once you arrive in Mandurah there are free shuttle buses to the foreshore departing regularly from the train station, as well as a tourist shuttle that will take you to all the major hotels and attractions. To see some of the aquatic highlights you can join one of the fantastic cruises.


Self Drive or Car Hire

By car, Mandurah is only 50 minutes south of Perth city and the airports (74kms from Perth City), with a choice of taking the inland scenic route beside the Darling Range, or the high-speed Kwinana Freeway direct route - just follow the signs to Mandurah.

Train

Mandurah is now linked to Perth via the Southern Suburbs Rail, fast train service – just 48 minutes from Perth, with links from Joondalup, Fremantle and Midland. You can now enjoy the journey to Mandurah in comfort and style on this modern and fast (130kmph) train ride. For up to date information and timetables, please refer to www.transperth.wa.gov.au

Mandurah Foreshore Express

The FREE Mandurah Foreshore Express operates between the Mandurah foreshore and the train station. The service will collect you from in front of the Visitor Welcome Centre at the station and transport you down to the foreshore stopping in front of the Mandurah Visitor Centre. The service runs continuously all day on a 20min loop until; 6pm in summer and 5pm in Winter. 

HATS Bus

Commencing & finishing at the train station, HATS stops at all major hotels, attractions, boat cruises, shops, shopping centres, restaurants, beaches and water activities, Visitor Centres, almost everywhere. This is not just a bus ride, it’s almost a scenic tour with a commentary along the way to keep you informed on the history, developments, and what to see where. Click here for more information...
