Scitech is an interactive, educational and engaging science centre conveniently located in the heart of Perth. As Western Australia's leading science education institution, this unique centre offers captivating science experiences for the whole family.

At Scitech everyone can learn about science and technology in a safe, enjoyable and educational environment and Scitech's designers are world-renowned for their innovative and creative exhibit design.

Boasting Australasia's largest planetarium (currently closed for refurbishment until late 2013), over one hundred hands-on exhibits, enthralling feature exhibitions, mind-blowing science performances and delightful puppet shows – there is so much to see and do at Scitech, you won't know where to start! Scitech also offers specialised school holiday programs and CSIRO Lab to allow inquisitive minds even more opportunities to create and experiment.

A visit to the Discovery Shop offers an opportunity to browse a wide range of unusual gifts that will allow you to extend your Scitech experience at home.

Scitech is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to increase awareness, interest, capability and participation by all Western Australians in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Scitech is aimed at children aged five to 12yrs however daily puppet shows and a permanently themed area exists for children aged three to seven years. Please note children under four cannot be admitted to the planetarium. Scitech also hosts evening public lectures and adult-only events throughout the year.
