The Visitor Centre offers:

  • Up-to-date information on where to go, where to stay and what to do within the Shire of Kalamunda: this includes local maps, bushwalking guides and a comprehensive range of brochures on local attractions.
  • A retail outlet offering a diverse selection of quality locally-made merchandise including pottery, woodwork, bags, books, cards, arts and crafts.
  • Maps and information on local wineries & tasting tours.
  • Entry to the Kalamunda History Village.
The visitors Centre prides itself on customer service, the promotion of the region, supporting local arts and craft groups, promoting local tourism operators.

The Visitor Centre is location within The Zig Zag Cultural Centre, a major community asset within the Shire of Kalamunda.

The Centre was designed as a multi purpose facility and has been developed to encourage greater community involvement and to assist with the growth of visitation to the Shire of Kalamunda and the Perth Hills as a tourism destination through the Visitor Centre, Art Gallery, Meeting Facilities and Zig Zag Cafe.

The Centre is situated in the ‘Kalamunda Cultural Precinct' and is located in between the Kalamunda Library and the Kalamunda History Village.

The centre has been strategically placed to draw visitors to the precinct to experience the history, cultural and attractions that the Shire of Kalamunda offers.
